Ellie and Joel were married at Currumbin in April this year. They just came for their album ordering session today, so I am now able to share with you all a sneak peek of their wedding day!
Ellie and Joel are such a fun couple, and their bridal party were also really wonderful and supportive on the day! They got ready, had their ceremony, photos and reception around Currumbin on the Gold Coast. It was a beautiful day, and the weather behaved itself at least until after the ceremony. As soon as we started the bridal party photos, the sky opened up and bucketed down just for a little while, and just enough for a little “good luck” for Ellie and Joel on their wedding day. The only cover nearby was some public toilets……… not the most romantic spot for wedding photos
But, not wanting to miss any opportunity to capture some different photos, we made good use of the textured aqua green walls and captured some serious and not so serious portraits I love photographing at this location, as the light, the backdrops and the colours in the landscapes can be so varied and stunning.
It was fantastic to catch up with you both again today, and I cannot wait to design your album! It is going to be stunning!
